Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is project introduced and encouraged to develop the skills of the youth so that they can have good livelihood and can enter into entrepreneurship via the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). 

                    

                            Our government has decided the total outlay of Rs.1120 crore to be spent on skill training of 14 lakh youth and under it the special emphasis has been laid to identify the prior learning for which an amount of Rs. 220 crore has been given. More of the target will be laid under the PMKVY would be on improved lifestyle, better pedagogy along with better trained instructors. Training would include soft skills, self grooming, do and don’ts related to cleanliness, good work principles, our social values and social responsibilities.

Designing this programme is not a task of a day special advise has been taken from the experts and Central ministries and state government departments were taken into consideration for their valuable advise and the inputs of various industry and renowned and successful business heads were also consulted for their valuable advise. Currently, about 488job roles are being catered to by the skills training delivered to many people during this programmed.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a unique step taken by Government of India with a strong motto to provide 24 lakh Indian youth logical, industrial, skill based relevant training. Under this scheme, the trainees will be given a monetary reward and a government certification on successful completion of training and assessment, which will help them in securing a good job  with a good remuneration for a better  and successful future.
